The Detroit & Michigan Chapters of the National Lawyers Guild recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of the landmark case U.S. v U.S. District Court, or the Keith case, at the UAW Local 909 in Warren. Among those taking part in the evening were (left to right) David Gespass, NLG (national chapter) president; Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly; State Bar of Michigan President Tony Jenkins of Dickinson Wright PLLC; Julie Hurwitz of Goodman & Hurwitz PC, Detroit & Michigan NLG vice-president; and Detroit attorney John Royal, Detroit & Michigan NLG president.
