Miller Canfield recently hosted a Before the Bell Breakfast Forum on the topic of “Death Tax and Income Tax – What Hath Congress Wrought?” at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. Taking part in the forum were (left to right) Tom Wiggins; Diana Murelli; Tom Cox of Miller Canfield; Dawn Schluter, Miller Canfield Personal Services Group leader; Gary Glenn, Miller Canfield Federal Tax and Employee Benefits Group leader; Carolyn Brown; Dave Frizzell; and Mike Coakley of Miller Canfield. “We’re talking about the effects of the new tax act — the one that passed in December 2010 — on estate planning primarily,” Glenn noted.
