PHOTO #1: The Incorporated Society of Irish American Lawyers (ISIAL) recently hosted its 36th Annual Scholarship and Award Dinner at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth. On hand to welcome guests for the evening were members of the ISIAL board of directors including (left to right) ISIAL Treasurer Jennifer Cupples, John Clark, ISIAL Past president Dennis Clark, John Brennan, ISIAL President Meghan Kennedy Riordan, ISIAL Vice President Joseph McGill, Mary Anne Noonan and Michael Bryce.
PHOTO #2: Among those enjoying the ISIAL festivities were (left to right) Charles Rutherford, Patricia Rutherford and Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Michael Riordan. Each year, the ISIAL awards scholarships to law students in the name of the late Thomas P. Thornton, U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan and a founding member of the society. This year, the recipients were Carrie Floyd and Chris Adams and they were honored during the annual event.
