Plunkett Cooney Senior Attorney Rasul Raheem (right) was the guest speaker for the “Integrity in Our Communities” series at the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School’s Auburn Hills campus on July 18. Welcoming Raheem was WMU-Cooley Assistant Dean Lisa Halushka (left). Raheem spoke about “The Courage to Face the Demands of Reality” and was presented with WMU-Cooley’s Integrity Award. Raheem is a member of Plunkett Cooney’s Banking, Bankruptcy, & Creditors Rights Practice Group and focuses his practice in the areas of business transactions, regulatory law, and banking law. He has nearly 30 years of experience as in-house counsel to Michigan National Bank and LaSalle Bank Corp, with the last nine years at Bank of America NA. An adjunct professor at WMU-Cooley, Raheem teaches a course on banking and financial institutions law.
