The Macomb County Bar Association this year has been offering a series of continuing legal education seminars in partnership with the Criminal Defense Association of Michigan. On hand for the latest event in that series were (pictured left to right) Brian Jaye, Scott Rabaut, Kyona McGhee, Angelo Donofrio, Stephen Rabaut, Kamil Koleczko, Patricia Maceroni, Michael Bakotich, Brian Legghio, Jacob Allen, Richard Newman and Justin Hadden. About a half dozen of these training sessions have been held thus far and a number are scheduled over the rest of the year at the Macomb Community College campus in Clinton Township. The topics of these events for court-appointed attorneys range from witness examinations to sentencing, evidence and jury selection among other matters.
