The Detroit Chapter of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) recently hosted its fourth annual Wine and Cheese Social at The Capital Grille in Troy. This year’s social event featured Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Patricia P. Fresard (fourth from right) as the distinguished guest. She focused her opening remarks on the growing importance of e-discovery in litigation and the proposed changes to the Michigan Court Rules. On hand to welcome Fresard to the event were (left to right) Mandi Ross, ACEDS Chairman of the Board/Advisor Barbara Bennett, ACEDS President Scott Petz, ACEDS Secretary Ingrid Evert, ACEDS Vice President Phillip Shane, ACEDS Treasurer Tom Isaacs, ACEDS Membership Penny Jones Magee and Denise Bach.
