The Macomb County Bar Association recently held another segment of its series of continuing legal education seminars in partnership with the Criminal Defense Association of Michigan. The topic was Crawford v. Washington, the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that dealt with the admission of hearsay statements in criminal cases. The training seminars that began in February dealt with such topics as jury selection, evidence, sentencing and sentencing mitigation.
